Ford IPod connection

When useing the new AUX input on dash with a Ipod or MP3 only the front and rear driver side sopeakers play. Why is it only playing in mono and not stereo using all speakers in truck. Please help

possibly the cable you are using is only a mono cable

also sometimes if you don't push it in all the way it will do that

Try making sure it is in all the way...sometimes it may feel like its in, but it may not quite be there.

I played with the cable an when I pull it half way out all speakers play but, if pushed all the way in only driver side. I'm going to get another cable to see if this will solve the issue. Thanks for all of your replys.

I have the same issue. Bought another cable but haven't had a chance to try it yet. (keep forgetting) lol

Give it a try and tell me if the new cable fixes the problem.

This is one of my favorite features. I got an IPOD for christmas last year but never really used it since I don't like headphones. But when I got this new truck I downloaded a bunch of songs and I will never have a CD again. I thought it would be complicated to work but I just bought the cable, plugged it in and everything worked great. Hopefully ya'll get everything squared away.
