Jet performance module v-10

Has any one tried a jet performance module on a V10? Have an airraid intake and just ordered a y-pipe. Looking for more bottom end without a gear swap. Have 3:73 with 35s. I know 4:30s would do the job just dont want to drop 2000.00$ right now. Any advice would be great. I do pull a 6000 LB Travel trailer. Thanks

I do not think it will help you any. I am running the superchips programer with 33's and 4:30 and it still tows bad, I have the 2V. What V10 do you have the 2V or 3V? I am going to change to 4:56 or 4:88. If I go 4:88 I am going to swap to 35's.
I think a gear swap is you only real choice. Not sure were you are at but a gear swap front and rear should not run you 2K.

I hate to say it, but with the V10, you're not going to get any more low-end torque without a supercharger.

The ONLY choice is a gear-swap. $2K is too much, look around, you should be able to get it down to the $1200-1300 range w/warranty.

save your cash till you can get a sct flasher or a diablo tuner for that v10. as far as jet goes i would not sell one to the worst man in the world, junk is not the word for how bad they are.

Welcome to the site!

Stop buying all the little odds & ends and save your money to buy gears. If you must chip, follow Cap'n Charlie's advice!

yep! get ready to hear some exhuast fluter after that y pipe mod. better off with a full banks kit from the heads back.

why i say banks guys, we have done many trys of different systems at the shop only to find with a v10 the banks kits and parts work and sound the best of them all and tend not to rattle your brains inside the cab like many esp. the mbrp v10 system which several of us installed and took off days later and thrown them away.

ask away guy many of us can surely tell you the truth about what we have tryed hard earned cash on and only took back off as wasted money items.

When I finally heard the "flutter" from Monsta's video, I realized that I already had it to some degree, and to me it's just a nice growl, not something to be ashamed of...

I had a JET module on my 00 Excursion. Could never get it to work. That alone made me figure it was junk.

Buy gears.

amen to that ken!

we get them all the time esp. on the dodge trucks that nothing else is made for. it's very hard to tell some one who just paid the price that they got a big peice of garbage.

ford gas motors we found work the best with SCT and diablo and thanks to both companies we have not had one customer complian about our retunes
