Manually downshifting a E40D
Hello all. So I was wondering....is it bad to downshift a E4Od when you are looking for a lower gear earlier? I mean, I know we all hate the shift points of are auto transmissions, but will it hurt them to downshift them ourselves?

Well....I wouldn't drop it into low from 80 mph.....but in the context you are talking about it will be fine.
