I used the instructions in the tech folder (Super Duty section) and was done, from start to finish in 20 min. The instructions in the tech folder are perfect.

another question i have is that i had some gauges installed and the idiots who ran them cross-threaded two of the four screws that hold the fuse box in under the driver side panel. Can these screws be bought or do they have to be ordered from ford.

You can pick them up from Home Depot, or Lowe's... They won't LOOK like the ford screws, but as long as the threads are correct, they'll work fine. Make it easy on yourself and pull one of the speed-nuts off the dashboard and take it in with you. They SHOULD be M10x.8 threads, but don't count that as gospel.
It took more time to install my upfitter switch kit than it did to wire the high idle. The whole process took about an hour.
