b-series question

is the b-series on this forum the mazda truck.i have a 86 ranger and a 49 f1 ford.just asking.

Yup the "B Series" Mazdas are the same as Rangers, just trimmed out a little differenly, and different hood, fenders & grill, but the running gear is the same, or nearly so.

every time I look up hood they interchage as the same, which surprised me. But yes, 1994 and up b-series is a ranger with a funny grille ornament.

The running gear is the same, not nearly so. The B series is built in the same factory as the Ranger. Different trim levels, and slight body trim differences.

Correct, in '94 it became a re-badged Ranger, nothing more. Options are packaged differently, prices vary, and the front end clip seems to differ regularly, but all else is the same.

thats good ,because i bought a new b- 2300 yesterday.if it will go over 350,000 thousand miles like my 86 ranger has,i will be happy.

The only real difference between the ranger and B-series, is in the flex fuel versions. The ranger perfers E-85 made from corn where as the B-series perfers rice ha ha ha ha !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not trying to be one I am one, I know the B-series is an american made ranger, just making a joke on the mazda part. I've been gone for a while, but once you get to know me you'll see I like to joke alot. The mazda has a different grill and the bed on the newer ones is a semi-stepside, or at least it has some rear wheel bulges, sorta sporty actually. It's kinda a funny, the old ford courier was a mazda and the new mazda p/u is a ford.
