Yup the "B Series" Mazdas are the same as Rangers, just trimmed out a little differenly, and different hood, fenders & grill, but the running gear is the same, or nearly so.

every time I look up hood they interchage as the same, which surprised me. But yes, 1994 and up b-series is a ranger with a funny grille ornament.

The running gear is the same, not nearly so. The B series is built in the same factory as the Ranger. Different trim levels, and slight body trim differences.

Correct, in '94 it became a re-badged Ranger, nothing more. Options are packaged differently, prices vary, and the front end clip seems to differ regularly, but all else is the same.

The only real difference between the ranger and B-series, is in the flex fuel versions. The ranger perfers E-85 made from corn where as the B-series perfers rice ha ha ha ha !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

quote from window sticker ,,,,,for vehicles in this carline:u.s/canadian parts content:80%,major sources of foreign parts content:none,,,,,for this vehicle:final assemblypoint:st.paul.mn.USA. country of origin:engine parts,USA.transmission parts, japan. i would say that only the trans eats rice, and all ranger trans come from there too.the rest of the truck is the same as the ranger with only small body modifacations.10 million clowns out of work and here you are trying to be one.

I'm not trying to be one I am one, I know the B-series is an american made ranger, just making a joke on the mazda part. I've been gone for a while, but once you get to know me you'll see I like to joke alot. The mazda has a different grill and the bed on the newer ones is a semi-stepside, or at least it has some rear wheel bulges, sorta sporty actually. It's kinda a funny, the old ford courier was a mazda and the new mazda p/u is a ford.
