i started at the turbo with a spectre 3 to 3 rubber conenctor .. to a 3" thin wall 45 street elbow pvc . next was a 3" pc of tubeing to conect to a 3" to 4" adapter ..to a 90 where i put a stright 12" to be finished after getting a filter for the truck

thanks for the help .... it was the 9 wire cluster under the air intake system the insulation on the wires dried and cracked i must have crossed them or something while playing around and caused the whole problem

Wht, that sounds like the IDM bundle those wires carry 115vdc from the IDM to the leg that gies to the 42 pin connector make sure they are insulated well.

I wonder if this should be an inspection point, and whether some additional abrasion resistance is in order.

What do you think?

Haven't before noted an instance where our wiring's insulation hardened and cracked.

trust me and check them 1100$ later and a few parts to boot its well worth checking them for they sit right under the air intake system and above the per injector tube .. to say a veyr hot part of the engine with no room for air movement
