08 Diff Cover

Well its on. The kit from Diesel Manor has all the propper length bolts (Allen Head) and the addition of washers to spread the load of the bolt was a good thought.

The second job for the day was the installation of
the Billet Oil Filler Cap. It has got to be good for an extra 0.000000000000000000000000013 HP. Installation was a bit complex since it didn't come with instructions but after a couple of beers we figured it out.

Yeah, I found that oil cap to be a tricky install as well. I had to get it lined up just right so the words were facing the right way.

Now just have to order the diff cover... it looks great!

Diff cover looks great Alan! I like the oil cap, but I'm using mine for a secondary CCV.

gunnertom-Summit has a real nice polished aluminum finned diff cover for the Dana 80. Hold 2 extra quarts of oil and it even has a drain plug! I love mine.
