Man a Ranchero in our mists. That would be great. I love to have for a cruising car/truck.

Hey glen, how much does a well cost?

It would be cool to get a ranchero to make it to some meets!

It all depends how deep you go. My old one went 92 ft down, but is a 6" deep well. The new well is going to be 35ft and 30" round. It will cost about 5200 to drill and another grand to trench.
The old well cost me 3000 9 years ago.

That is actually not as bad as I thought it would be.

I wonder if my boss would let me take one of the drilling rigs to saskatchewan and do some drilling?

hate to have to carry those drill bits around... yeah, that price does seem reasonable for todays economy.

Well the Ranchero was too rusty. It was a '74 Ranchero Country Squire so it would have been fancy back in the day.

Did you get any pics thou. Between the one you have and that one you could not make one good one? What was the price he wanted for the car. Was it reasonable. To me I rather save it from a crusher if it is not that rusty or fixable.

I would have taken a camera but my brother's girlfriend has it in Toronto. The doors are shot, rear wheelwheels gone, infront and behind rear wheelwells are rotten. Can almost stick my hand through the side. I didn't ask a price. Technically it is in slightly worse condition than mine. The vinyl roof is just shreaded. The wooden vinyl siding is worn. The only useful parts would be the okay interior and front end. To us it wasn't worth to borrow a trailer and burn 16 gallons of diesel to get it.

Tonight saw a 57 Ranchero at the Draggins club house being done up. Had lots of rust, but the guy was giving it a go and had a good portion of it done. There was still enough meat on it to work with it.
