Big THANKS to everyone who helped diagnose and fix my problem.. !!!! It looks like replacing the the CPS fixed thre problem.....once I replaced it I drove around about 10 miles and no problems... ( knock on wood ) . I would like to know what exactily or at least a ball park expanation of what the CPS does... My truck seems to sound a bit different and seems to run better as well..... Is it all in my head or does it realy seem better...

The CPS counts the rotation of the camshaft so that it knows the position and the PCM can determine when to fire the injectors. Without a signal, the injectors don't fire and the engine quits. It's how our engines get the timing.
Ya it's the new grey one.... when I pulled out the old one and looked at it..then at the new one I said oh crap...it's the wrong one.....but I rememberd that you guys said it was Improved so I figured it was revamped a bit as well. Truck still running great.......... THX again for all the info...... A.
