best gaskets to use

i'm just about to the point in my 400 build to buy my gaskets. am i better off to order one of the full sets from summit or ebay or should i buy them 1 by 1. do i need to get anything special for the head gaskets? i'm running stock reman heads with stock pistons bored .030 over.

I bought all my stuff for my 400 rebuild from our sponsor Tim Meyers. His prices are good and he sells good stuff! He will sell you what you need.

Fel-Pro gaskets IMO. I think they sell a gasket kit for 351M/400.

I like FelPro gaskets as well. Just make sure that whatever gasket set you get, that it is complete. More often than not, the head gaskets are not included and the intake gasket (turkey pan) is not included either.

There are two types of Fel-Pro head gaskets. One that needs retorquing and one that "supposedly" doesn't. It's not too hard to retorque if you have the stock rockers, you do have to remove some of them.
I've heard good things about Cometic (I think) head gaskets.
