The BamaChips programmer is my favorite, you could probably do a search on BamaChips and get some of my older posts about their features, but essentially you get custom made tunes for your truck and your intended purpose. We can access areas of the PCM that the Edge cannot to make more tweaks and get more power and better driveability.
well i just got a new 07 f150 4x4 and want to install a programer, which programer is better?
Welcome to FTE Colorada. Historically, Hypertech products have not "tuned" over the entire range.... instead opting to tune for 4k RPM and above (where all trucks typically rev ). I ran a Superchips unit on my 04 FX4, and it was great. When I picked up my 06, the Superchips was too expensive. I decided to try out the Edge unit that I had read so much about here. I have loved it since. I don't have a concrete answer for you, but I would shy away from any Hypertech product if I were in your shoes. Past that, there is a WEALTH of information about various tuners here in this forum. Just might take you some time to decipher it all. Good luck.

I have my truck booked for a dyno pull in Calgary on July 3. I am running a Diablosport Predator and am very pleased with it. I will post the results after I have the data.
I also have a Green Performance air filter and I am interested to compare it with the stock filter.
To answer your orig question, Hypertech only works at WOT as opposed to Superchips which works at all throttle positions and therefore is more beneficial to you since I'm assuming you dont run at WOT all the time, unless you drag that is. I hope that helps.
