2003 PSD & MicroTuner

Ken,
I got my new F350 CC PSD 4X4 E04 , 2 weeks ago and drove from LA to IN to pickup a 9500# 5th wheel. Going up solo I averaged 21mpg @ 60-70 mph. Returned with load and averaged 12.7 @ 60 mph. Most of my driving will be solo but occasional 2000-3000 roundtrips pulling trailer, now loaded to closer to 12,000#. Would I need to add the 4" downpipe or pyro gauges when I used the MicroTurner in the towing mode?
Also, I will be in Alpharetta next week and would like to drop by your store. Would I save any $ by ordering from here and shipping or pickup at your store and pay GA taxes??
I will take my F350 in Monday for its first 3000 mile lube, so I know it has a long way to go before it is broke-in.

No, you won't need the downpipe or pyro for the towing mode. However, I believe strongly in using an EGT gauge whenever towing large loads whether or not you chip it. A pyro is one of the best judges of what's going on (along with boost) and "driving by pyro" is sure to help you keep that powerful truck on the road for a long time.

As to dropping by.... well, our store is about 1800 sq feet of basement with half converted into an office with 4 desks, 1 meeting table, 6 shelves and 5 filing cabinets plus a copier, 2 faxes, 3 printers, 5 computers, a router and various other smaller pieces of equipment. The other half was converted into two rooms: one for shipping, receiving and several hundred books, manuals and about a thousand decals. The other is wall to wall shelves with small parts, a table with bumpers, another large area for sheet metal, plus a shelve for chips, intakes and exhaust items (and now, Lightning pulleys) plus off site storage. We were going to move into an off-site facility this past July but could not justify it without raising prices. Also, I've been at this for 5 years and there's nothing like walking down the steps to go to work. I'm usually in the back area until 1, in the office area after 1.
