no drive in a c6

my brnc c6 wont move in drive i can manually shift 1st and 2nd but as soon as I hit drive nothing I understand drive clutches are by themselves but it worked 1 mo ago when parked because oil pump broke

You could try changing the fluid or putting in some solvent type seal conditioner. It usually means something is gummed up in the valve body.

I've had a problem simalar to yours and it was the govenor had a speck of dirt in it and it wouldn't let it go into all the gears. I was told that ford is known for little problems if the govenor,vacum modelators,and filters are dirty that they will not shift properly.
