Highboy Facts?
What is the differace between a highboy F250 and a standard F250? Occording to my brother, Ford never made a F250 highboy. The term "Highboy" had been taken out of context and is misused, when dealing with 3/4 ton Fords. My brother also claims that there's writen literature out there, that debunks the highboy theroy. So, is my brother right or wrong?
Can anyone prove or disprove the highboy myth, with solid facts, not opinions. Or, is the Myth Busters going to put this topic to rest?

Maybe read the FAQ thread that is marked READ FIRST.
It has the highboy info in it because so many people seem to ask about them.
BTW,It is only a nickname and NOT recognized by Ford.

yeah my truck come from the factory with HD front coils and it even says it on the window sticker, and alot of older people that were like 20 or 30 when the truck was new, says that its a "hi boy" so people around here use the nickname for 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks.
