I know I asked this before but...
My truck right now is at stock height "I plan on lifting it sometime" and I would like to get a Dual Sterring stabilizer for it, is it true that if I use the dual set-up I would be putting more strain on the steering pump?
I was going to get the Tuff Crounty brand, it looks good, anyone have this brand?
Thanks ~Gage~
You can put on a dual stabilizer now, but the question is how much of a lift and what size tires are you planning to go with?
I'm running a 6" lift and tires are just over 35", which is about max for a single stablizer. If you plan to go bigger than that, then a dual would be a better setup. The single works great with my application as it is.
The Skyjacker kit for the '99-04 models is a bit rough. From what I hear the ride is much improved in the '05's and up, but I haven't ridden in one of those with a Skyjacker lift yet.
