Hard to start when hot
Hello eveybody:
I am your friend from the desert land, my 66 Ford F100 with I-6, 300, 1 brl Carter elect chocke carb wont start when hot, it start when I mash the gas pedal all the way but in a hard way, sometimes it starts and quits.
Anyone had this before, I appreciate any help from you.

Sounds like flooding when hot. Check your choke operation. I even removed the choke plate which only helped a little. Had that problem with mine for years until I got the engine rebuilt with mods.

Thanks for your reply but the elcttric choke saves gas as the man in the company which I bought the carb from mentioned.
