Thanks to all of the great posts, i tackled the fp on my 96. Not too bad, just a few knuckle busters here and there. I have one tip to add to the step by step post. I took off the front wheels and lowered the rotors to sit on wood blocks..I was able to stand in front of the truck and do all of the work without crawling up onto everything (mind you I'm 6'3" with pretty long arms) . Didn't cut out the webbing on the pedestal, just worked around it. I can't believe the gunk that came out of the valley. I had to dig it out with a spoon! I did replace all hoses as well. I took some photos with my phone (and they are kinda crappy but oh well) I want to thank everyone for the posts that walked me through it. FTE Rocks!!! Now the wife is happy because there isn't any more leak spots on the new driveway. I will say that setting the rotors on blocks really made it easier and I recommend it to all that do this job. THANKS AGAIN ALL!

Congrats on the fix. Those pics are pretty good for a phone. Man I can't seem to put pics on here unless I use web shots. How do you do it? When I do all I can get is the link.
I upload them to my web server and then just link to them from there. I am willing to set up hosting for this forums photos if you all want. I will put some instructions on how to do it later on this week along with a free ftp client, that way everyone can put up their photos and not worry about hosting.
As for the phone pics..it is a Palm 700WX Smartphone. It takes alright pics but not as good as a D-SLR camera.
What do you all think about some photo hosting for the forums? You all up for it?
Good job on the FP, now that you saved some $$ you can start the mods btw: I have benn dropping the whole truck on the ground too. It sure make it easier on your gut when the hood latch is the last thing to catch you when tumbling off the front of the truck
Man that's a lot of crap in the valley, it must have been leaking for a while. Those picts are great for a cell phone.
If you want the picture to show-up in the post then add the following to the beginning and the end of the URL with no spaces except between img and src:
< img src= URL goes here / >
I had to add spaces to the above because the computer would try to load a picture that doesn't exist. It would look like this:
OK I think I got it. but they are small. That is a start. I went to pic and rt click then properties then copy url. Then went to advanced post and clicked on insert image and pasted url. Magic it worked but the pic is small, why. Thanx for the help and sorry about experimenting in your thread.
Neal there is a place on the site for you to experiment with but it looks like you got it anyway. If you want the larger picture to show up then click the thumbnail and then get the properties of the larger picture, it will be different.
