Srod speedo conversion
Hello folks, I have an 87 2wd single rail overdrive tranny here. and I want to convert it from electronic signal speedo to an older manual style. I know I can get creative and have someone mill and fit and weld something up. But is there an easier solution. Will an older style part fit in the hole and work?
Any help or leads would be great.

Not sure why you want to go to manual, but It would be cheaper to go with a tranny from an old truck that has the manual style. The old trannies would have the manual tranny for you. Probly be cheaper then all the machining and welding.

Well, I figured it out. I have a TOD. And after looking around the speedo cable itself has what I need on the end. I just need to measure how long it is. The reason I'm going with this tranny was it's rebuilt has OD, nearly bolt in. Oh it was $25, I have a 3 speed here to swap in if it doesn't work out. My c6 is dieing and I like stick shifts, I really don't want to change my speedo guage.
