Really need an oasis report. No one responded to my last request. I suppose I wasn't holding my mouth right. Found a little paint overspray on some plastic, could use a carfax report if someone has unlimited access to them.
Sorry man I've got nothing, but here's the bump. Overall here's what I look for.
1.) Are we leaking anything?
2.) are the door gaps even, and consistent throughout the vehicle?
3.) no funny noises on startup, shutdown, at idle or anywhere else.
4.) If the following answers are No, Yes, and yes, and the truck looks clean and otherwise well kept then I say go for it. You can also look for waves in the paint, orange peel and those things. But so long as these are good, the rest is fixable.
You could also take it to a paint shop (some dealers have it) and have them measure the thickness of the paint. It sounds weird but the factory paint is the thinnest paint. The device that they use looks kinda like a pager that meauses the thickness with ultrasound (I think).
