I'm afraid we'll need a little more info here. What is the trim on your cab? ie, standard cab (no back seat, extended cab (half back seat), etc. And what kind of head unit do you have right now?

By entry level I am assuming that you mean cheap aftermarket deck right.

As for subwoofers, I used to have two 10" subs in separate boxes behind my seats in my 94 reg cab. If you don't want your knees resting inside of your steering column while you drive then you'll want to get the shallowest subs that you can find. Mine are bazooka's but not tubes (bazooka makes non-passive subs). They are very thin. There are special made boxes for single cab trucks that are flat on the back on sloped on the front, to fit between the seatback and the rear cab wall. I had the amp mounted on the wall between the two subs.

Wow thats one that I've never seen before! Can someone still sit there or is it too uncomfortable.

And to sportred, I'll get some pictures of my subs in those boxes this weekend so you can see what I'm talking about, if you haven't found them already.

I'm kinda big and its a stick so I'm never really a fan of having someone in the middle anyways...but yes someone can sit there for short trips and it's not bad at all. ya get a nice little massage from the sub too!

lol...massages are good... i had 2 12inch subs behind the seat of my '96 reg cab. i would definately reccomend getting the shallow subs though, sitting that close to the steering wheel is majorly uncomfortable!!

Back when I was into the boom . I had a sleeper cap (looks like a truck cap but only 2ft or so deep)
Id remove the back cab window and use camper seal to seal cab/ camper . Built a box under cap for amps ETC You can fit ant sized sups you want int it . I used bet I could bounce quarters on sunroof , Paid for gas . And I could put seat anywhere I wanted it.

Now I wish I had it I'm about deaf LOSt
