Nope. I usually replaced broken sliders. The one in my 69 had a bad latch, and I had the spare glass in a cab I got. The one in my 72 was smashed at one point, so I replaced it before the rain rotted the seat the rest of the way, the 70 didn't have a back window at all, and the 84 had rust coming out from under the gasket, and I dropped the thing when I pulled it. So, no spares.
(For Islanders, the only place I know of is Christian's by the main base in Oak Harbor and their supply is low. "Chief's" garage on Sleeper Road sometimes has parts trucks. Lemme' know if anybody else opens a salvage yard on that end of Whidbey, 85_Ford_6.9L_4x4 .)
I know that a little farther up Goldie between the Base ant town, theres Oak Harbor Auto Wreaking, I havent been in there yet but it looks pretty big compaired to Christans from the outside.
Just thought I'd give ya'll an update, I know I know took me long enough.....LOL Anyways, went to Oak Harbor Auto wreaking and got a rear slider window out of a wreaked '88 for $35, took it down to A+ auto glass and they installed it for me. Just to let all you islanders know Oak Harbor Auto Wreaking is bigger then Christians, and has a LOT more Ford trucks, seen about everuthing from early '80s to mid '90s, 150s-350s. They even had sittin in the shop a 7.3 Powerstroke that was talkin to me...LOL But thankfully I resisted the temptation, God knows I couldnt aford THAT perticular swap. Anyways anybody on the island or in the area, thats a good place to go, great people to work with.
That's good to know, the more spare parts yards the better. You loving your new window? The slider ventilation is handy for our hot days* coming this summer.
