Has anyone here had any experience with the Tweecer the DIY J3 service port(the one where you plug in superchips) adapters or any of the other equipment used to access and modify The EEC-IV in fords. I think instead of buying superchips I mght go this route instead, a couple of them I believe the Tweecer being one allow you to have three preprogammed selections that are selected with a switch. Thing is it cannot be done on the "fly" you do have to shut the unit down to change selection, nothing is ever as easy as in the movies.

The Tweecer is a good product for its market. Its not for the do it yourselfer who wants to experiment, or even someone who knows a bit about non-computer tuning. You can easily cause significant engine damage by using the wrong parameters (I've used the Tweecer software and its not for the weekend warrier). If you're experience at computer tuning go for it, but if you're not be very careful. Either way be willing to give up an engine if you do something wrong (like cracking a piston and the resulting damage if its too lean or the timing is wrong).
