Pinging noise w/SCMT installed
Ken,with the SCMT 60hp program installed there was a pinging noise (more like the Lawrence Welk bubble machine) whenever I pulled a load up a grade, even an overpass. The PCM code was PMT2 but was reflashed (new code not identified)on advice from Super Chips tech. The noise is still evident. If I disengage cruise control and manually downshift the noise is eliminated. Any ideas?
