Fuel Oil

I have access to about 7000 gals of fuel oil for a boiler. The boiler is gone but the fuel remains. Anyone know if the fuel can be run in a 96 powerestroke?

I ran fuel oil (600 gallons 50/50) in my IDI motor with no problems. Not sure if a PSD will like it though. Contact the supplier of the oil to see just exactly what is in the tank. How old is it? Prefiltering is a must. Sorry, this isn't much help but if there is any doubt, don't do it, it can be expensive to repair. Google it for a ton of info.

Oh yah, one more thing, diesel cops might ticket you if it's dyed red, most likely is. This can get expensive.
