I hope you know your stock axles won't stand any abuse from 44s.....

38s will be pushing it as it is.

3/4 Ton Axles wont? My buddy has 44s on his half ton axles under his bronco. Only thing he goes through is starters.

Very Nice! lol. I have a 62 ford that i would trade for your 75, its red, big and has a big block. I bet ur father would love to have this truck. I have HALF TON AXELS and running 44's, im sure yur 3/4 ton axels would hold up just fine. "36's are as big as u want to go", heck who ever said that sounds like a chevy man to me. Always afraid of breaking things. Welll hopefully those gaskets come in this week and we can put our engines together and then lets go boggin!!!!!!!!!!

IF you use your truck for anything other than mall crawling, the 3/4 ton axles don't have a chance for 44s.
I've seen plenty of people run 44s on 1/2 tons, and I don't see them do anything close to what a truck with 1 tons can do.

If ya'll honestly believe 1/2 ton axles are strong enough for 44s, I feel sorry for ya'll.

I've got 1/2 ton axles (sort of ) running 44s... 35 spline moser 9" and a Currie 44/9" 35 spline... So not really half ton, but the next step is planetaries...

That's the only way I could see someone running 38s+ on half ton axles. Either bigger stronger 35 spline axle shafts or some chromoly shafts.
