Exhaust Y Pipe...

Morning everyone,
I have a 2001 F-350 7.3L diesel that I would like to make into a dual exhaust. Right now it has a single exhaust and was just thinking I could get a Y pipe and extenstions to make into a dual coming out the back. Is that possible?? If so, where would be a good place to look for the parts?? If not possible, any other ideas to make dual exhuasts (without purchasing a whole new exhaust kit)

Just pick up a single in/dual out muffler. Dynomax pipes are usually available seperately, so you could be able to buy over the axle pipes that may plug into the muffler.

by the time you buy all the parts and spend 2 days making it fit you will be about the same to buy a complete system.

Errrr.....most 7.3 and 6.0 Power Strokes have a single exhaust (large single exhaust if aftermarket) because you only have one turbo with one outlet?

Or being a gasser guy am I missing something?
