Spare tire winch
Looks like my spare tire winch is shot- Got the spare tire off and now the cable will not retract. I took the winch out and the cable does not budge.
Any tricks??
If I need to order a new one- where would I find it and what exactly is it called?
I searched some parts websites and cannot find it.

If you can remove it, just take it off, there are two bolts.
Soak the winch assembly with a rust breaker or penetrant and lube spray.
You may have to let out all the cable and rewind it back in and out a few times.
I know there are a few FTE members that are authorized Ford resellers and give great discounts on parts.
