77/67 windshield frame problems
I have recently taken a 67 body and put it on a 77 frame. I cut the top of the windshield frame of the 67 and replaced it with the top of the 77 frame for the electric wipers. Here is the problem. I want to just use a bikini top or no top on it and the top of the frame seems awfully loose. i have the two bottom bolts secured as tight as i can get them but the top still will not line up with the doors. (its the frame not door adjustment). Does anyone else have this problem or know how to cure it?

Get rid of the doors, and get door inserts to replace them. It adds a whole new level to being a convertable! The inserts basically make it look better when the doors are gone. If the winshield seems flimsy, then maybe you could attach it at the top somehow to the roll bar. You really should have a roll bar anyways if you have the top off.
