351W Condensation or Leaky Head Gasket?
Can anybody help determine whats up with my motor? I have a '69 Bronco with a 351W. My Bronco has been sitting a lot outside for the last year. I drove it a couple of miles about every 10 days. Since last January when I start it up I get some white smoke out of the driver side exhast. If it is real bad I will get some out of the passenger side exhaust. I drive it around for 5 minutes and it goes away. I do get some milky goo on the oil fill cap. I don't have any oil in the coolant. Recently my brother drove it about 300 miles and didn't see any white smoke. The goo on the oil cap was almost gone. It sat for four days and it's smoking again and the goo is back. I changed the oil yesterday and a little of that milky goo was in the oil that I drained out. Do you think it is condensation or can the head gasket have an itermittent leak?
