cold air intake

cold air intake

how would i run a cold air intake on an 87 f250 with a 6.9 so far it is stock hopefully by the end of the summer it will have a turbo and 3" duals

Check out K and N they have several new systems....... not that you should buy one just get some ideas.

right now i just got bored and put two stock intakes together it had the stock one that went down and i had one that comes strait out like urs and i just put them togeather

this ain't got nothin to do with the air intake but do any of ya'll have the stock vacum cruise control that works mine will hold about 45 for a minite or so then slowely shut off it it the coffee can deal or do i have to much spring tension on the throttle?

Visit ........ http://www.members.shaw.ca/k2pilot/ for the Cruise info... could be coffee can, lines or a low vacuum from the Vpump...... any braking problems lately.

how much psi should the vacum pump be pulling no brake problems i think either i have to much tension on the throttle or its the canister

Check out the page PLC7.3 posted. I used it to diagnose my cruise and it was easy. I had a steering column ground issue(caused by previous owner ), two wires pulled out at the servo, and the amplifier was toast. Would have never figured it all out without that page.

My vacuum at the servo with a new vacuum pump is 25psi.

i pretty sure i dont have that much psi it will hold for a second then quit so im thinking it would be the vacum pump
