I don't know much about vehicles but I know what I want.
But did they ever make it?
Did they ever put a 6 cylinder engine in stock 68-77 bronco?
If so... when,what,where?
If not... what is or was the most fuel efficient one?
the 170/200 small six was the base engine from '66 until '72 or'73 then it was 302 v-8 only. good luck finding one. most people want to swap to a v-8, but the little six is a good engine.
the v-8 came with 3.50:1 gears stock. the I-6 came with 4.10:1 stock. with 4:56 and otion. the v-8s get anywhere from 10-17 mpg. the six should get anywhere from 15-23 mpg. all depends on tire size/gear ratio/carb size. remember the bronco wieghs in at around 3600 lbs.
