Check the sites to see if they have the tuners.I've used them on every truck I've owned in the last 15 yrs. If you don't drive crazy a tuner will not hurt your truck. I have raced my trucks with no problems caused by the tuners. As far as warranty just remove the tuner before you take your truck in for service.
I got an update this week that said Edge is still working on 07 ford applications, I don't know about SCT. On a gas motor, you will only see about 10 hp, but it will help the transmission and allow you to adjust for tire size changes.
I believe in them, and have been through several trying to find my favorite. I get much more use out of my tuners than beer.
Horse-power with recent Ford's isn't the only metric and only tells part of the picture.
Ford instance, the drive-by-wire systems typically have very poor throttle response which makes them feel like they have a lot less horsepower than would show up on a dyno. Even if the tuner didn't give measurable increases on a dyno (but it will), you'll find the vehicle responds a lot better to throttle input, with faster 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.
I have sct tuning from Troyer. I bought one of the old model tuners he has on sale. I'm running the 93 performance tune.It seems a little stronger than the custom tuned Superchip I'd been running. It has a better responce than the Superchip & the shifting is much smoother at all rpms. Its shifts much better at mid throddle with the SCT. I'm getting a 1 mpg difference in mpg & will probably get 2 mpg once I quit running the truck hard. I'm really impressed with this tune. It has a much better midrange & top end than the chip had. I want to hit test & tune at the track to see what my times are like. I recommend the SCT xcal in the xcal II if you can afford it. The xcal I is on sale for $295 unless they have sold out.

what is troyer's website? I was kinda leaning towards the edge, but If i can get one for $295 it would be worth it.
You don't want an Xcal I unless all you want is tuning. The XCal I is very miminal, it only loads tunes, does not have a screen and doesn't read diagnostic codes. Go to the chips/tuner section and click Troyer's logo. Let him know you're a registered user of Ford-Trucks.com and he gives a discount on custom tuning.
