88 E350 351W idling problem
I've searched through the various threads but haven't found a conclusive answer to my problem.
It idles high. Then, sometimes, it'll idle a little lower, but high most of the time. I've replaced a couple of the coolant sensors, the map sensor, TPS, fuel pressure regluator, swapped in a different IAC, various things. It still idles high and wont slow down to where it should be. It also stumbles and hesitates when you first take off, maybe linked? Any ideas?

Sounds like an intake leak......most of the time it's the gasket between the upper and lower......spray some carb clean around the gasket while it's running if it changes the idle thats most likely the cause.

The problem has now re-presented itself in a different form. It idles erratically, fast, slow, fast, slow, fast, slow. Sometimes very quickly, sometimes its delayed. Today it was horrible. Certain spots on the throttle had no effect, some spots would bog the engine down, etc. It triggered the check engine light at one point idling but it showed up low EGR or something to that effect. Any ideas?
