timing cover explosion
i was on the highway and i was mergeing on and all of a sudden poof, lots of smoke and started to over heat, so drove home .5miles. got there let it cool and put water in it, with the hose started spuing out, took water pump off and the timing cover i cracked, and the fan went bad so now i need to change tyhe timing cover. i might want to change cams while i do this.

It would be a good time for swap . I'd check compression first . Usually its # 8 failer for me or the bottom end letting loose so I don't worry about cam much . But would be a great time to put in the heavier cam and rollers..
