Fuel Tank

I have a 1979 F250 4x4 with a built 400 with all smog equipment removed. I would like to put a 38 gallon fuel tank in place of the 19 gallon unit. I have found a direct replacement made by Silla for $ 387 which includes the ECC. My question: Will a later model tank fit without the ECC options. I have found 80's models with the same demensions. The current tank hangs between the frame rails behind the rear axle. Any other suggestions would be appreciated also..

You should be able to get a 38 gal. replacement tank without the ECC option from FTE sponsers such as NPD, Autokrafters, BOTP, Broncograveyard, etc.
