Ford Service / repair DVD

Have been looking at these on Ebay and wondering are they any good? Looking at one for my year of truck and says it will work but have to set back my date , it was a Feb 07 DVD.

I bought a Ford service cd/rom for my sisters' '00 Continental. It had about as much
info as a shop manual, EVTM, and prep manual. I print what I need to have at the vehicle. It's worked well, and was $4.00.

The genuine Ford DVDs are chock full of information, they have everything in them just as fl1a described, along with some TSBs and Recall info. However many of the of the DVDs covering the newer vheicles "expire" after a certain amount of time. As a workaround, you change the date on your computer. Which means you have to remember to change the date, both before and after using the DVD, each and every time. If you don't mind doing that, then it ought to work just fine for you.
