Pulling Question

Ok , the tractor and truck pull is coming to town this weekend , and i thought about taking my truck and entering it in the stock class. How do they hook the sled to your truck ? Do yall thank my truck has a chance ? Will i blow my motor ?

Thanks Bigun

You probably won't blow your motor, I'd worry more about your tranny. Truck pulling is hard on transmissions. Hard on trucks in general. Do you have a chance: This depends on if the stock diesel are in your class. If they are, no you don't have a chance. At our fair the "street legal" diesels can make a full pull where the street legal gas trucks barely pull 150 ft. Give a try and have fun! That is all you can do to be sure!

you'd need A LOT of power to do that. I honestly think the biggest problem you'll run in to from a single pull is dissappointment in your truck. At our fair the diesel/gas street trucks are in the same class. Not even pulling half the distance of a truck in your class is crappy!

up here they require you to have a twist-type clevis(so that the opening is horizontal) on your reciever hitch, has to have at least a 3" opening and no higher than 25"(not 100%).
