You could always get somthing like this.
IT isn't for your exact truck, but the beds are similar enough, and if need be you could take some of the metal and weld what you need to mount it right.
At least this way, it will look good, and just in the bed you might have to fabricate somthing, but it wouldn't be visable any way.
why not have a rear 'cage' built for your truck with true tube? it'd help save your life and prolly cost about the same as those chrome bolt down jobs. then later down the road you could just add on to make a full cage!
get some thick walled square tubing and make it so that it follows tha outline of ur cab and has runners that follow and mount to your bed rails. I made mine like that and it looks awesome. gotta no how to weld tho.
pkupman82 , im talkin about the roll bars that go in the bed that lights go on ....not a roll bar like a bronco has
I know I just couldn't resist bashing on the PVC roll bars! Sorry I have seen some crazy rickety junk built by hillbillies where I live... it just cracks me up! But seroiusly, a buddy of mine made a really nice light bar from 2.5" exhaust tubing (I know kinda pricey $$$) for his Dodge it came out really sharp.
Smitty calls that "roll bar" a light bar, they make no claims for it being a roll bar. If you bolt it together to install it, it isn't a roll bar. The item shown, actually uses self tapping screws last time I checked to hold the tubes together.
I agree, even if you have to use square tube welded together it is better then a light bar.

i'd use round if you want it for safety at all.
looks? square/triangle/circle/heagon... i don't care
