New Edge Evo update

Had mine in the truck for about 2 weeks now. Still have to find time to put in the EGT sensor. The tunes are nice just wish when you have to change between settings it would download faster. Thinking about getting a boost gauge. Not sure if reading from the computer is all accurate. All in all not bad. Though I might try and swing some DP tunes on a seperate chip. Driving around in in race tune is awsome. Extreme is just crazy. But usually been diving in the 60hp (tow/ecomony) since I live on base and the max speed limit is 35mph. It doesen't like to be in the race or extreme and not go over 35. The truck just wants to go. If I was off base and able to get it on the highway everyday I would keep it on either race or extreme. Though I had a big grin on my face when it was on the extreme and taking it for a little test ride when I first got it. Still messing with the softwere. Trying to figure out if I can change it because I put larger tires on it.

Should be able to. The gas pump is where the smile ends on the race and extreme modes from what I hear. Nice deal though. Smoke 'em if you got 'em I say.

powerstrokin007,

You would not have to get our tunes on a seperate chip. We now offer custom tuning for the New Evo. Jody or Bill can load the same tunes as you would get on chip on to the New Evo for you. As far as tire recalibrating goes, that is not a feature for the 7.3l diesel's. The boost reading through the EVO will only read to 22 psi even if you exceed it. A seperate gauge would be required to monitor exact boost pressure.
