EB Sheetmetal...where is the best?
I just bought a really solid 1976 EB, 302, Auto, Full Top. It needs inner front fenders (which one doesn't) and the passenger side front fender (just a small rot hole by the marker light). I could stand to replace the grill (bumper damage on one side) and the windshield frame if I was **** about it (ok, I'm **** about it). Where could I find the best sheetmetal that fits like a glove?

i got innerfender pans from jeffs bronco graveyard. They seemed to know their bronco when i talked to them on the phone. you will have to grind the old ones off and weld the new ones on but they fit well and had something on them (possibly primer. i did it a few years ago and i dont remember exactly) to prevent rust. I also bought a bushing set from them. I havent bought fenders or a grill so i cant tell you about the fit of those. I have also heard good things about jamesduff http://www.jamesduff.com although i find their prices slightly higher. There are many other places too so if you cant find one there let me know and i will tell you some more web sites.

Hey Spinman, welcome to FTE!
I need alot of sheetmetal for mine('77) as well. Motorhaven here carries some S/M for EB's. If they don't have it, Auto Krafters may have it. I know they carry alot of S/M for EB's.
Don't know about fit, however. I just started on mine this week-end. It looks bad. Much worse than yours. Looks like-full floor pans, kick panels, wheel house extensions and door supports. Maybe a front fender. But she's mechanically perfect! LOL
Good luck.

You should look at Dennis Carpenter Reproductions All of they're parts are licensed by Ford, or made from the "Original Tooling" of FoMoCo casts. (It's pretty reasonable, too) I've been getting some stuff from there lately, it's as good as you can get.

Thanks guys for all your input. I'll take a look at each of these.
This is actually my fourth EB. I had a 73 that was held together with mud (from the ground, not bondo), a 74 that was ok, a 76 that was great (still regret selling it) and now this one (will never sell it, even if it rots from underneath me).
I hope to start working on it soon and have a killer machine in a couple years.
Thanks again.
