Wiring an Ignition

I'm wiring up the new engine in my bronco and had a question. It has a Duraspark ignition now, courtesy of my donor rig. It has two harnesses coming out of the Duraspark box, one going to the distributor and coil, and my question was where does the other go? It has two wires, one red, the other white. Does it go to the solonoid? My original Chilton manual doesn't have it in it. Can anyone help?

Wiring an Ignition

The harness you are talking about goes into the ignition switch. I beleive one goes to the start position and one to the run but its hard to tell in the diagram i have and the truck is not in front of me right now. The harness with the larger number of wires will plug into the distributor harness and the one wire not in the plug (green i think) will go to the coil on the tach side. You might (could be definately) need the ignition switch and harness from your donor vechicle. When i did the duraspark conversion on my Bronco i used the whole wireing harness from another bronco but that was probably overkill on my part. hope this helps a little
