I figured I better introduce myself to everyone and just maybe through this site I can soak up some of your knowledge on how to make my Ford diesels run a bit better! I have had a 1985 F250 with a 6.9 diesel for about 12 years now and I use it as a work truck for my landscape business. She still runs good for having 192,000 miles, the body is rusting out pretty bad so I replaced the bed and now in the next couple of years I might have to look into replacing the cab if I want to keep her road legal in PA! For years I dreamed of owning a new Ford diesel but just could not afford buying one! Well in 2003 I made my dream come true and purchased a F250 Crew cab, FX4, 4WD, 7.3 diesel, one of the last ones they made! I love the truck! Four years later she is still my baby, no dirty work for her yet, just pulling the family boat or camper on vacations. She is still all stock, no mods just yet, but with fuel prices climbing I have to do something soon to let her breathe a little easier. Any thoughts........

Thoughts? Yes! You can find a ton of information about your truck and how to make it run in our tech forums. Just click on the Forums tab at the upper left and scroll over the list. There are several that deal with diesels and your engine. Further on down the list is another forum for programmers and tuners. Check them out and feel free to post questions in them.
