Hello to all. Another new user checking in from the great state of Texas. Just starting my new hobby with a 57 F100 I just rescued. It has been in the weeds for 10 years. My plan is to get it back to original as much as I can. Will do a frame off. Any ideas where the data plate is supposed to be located? I'm sure I will have a million more questions. Glad to have found this resource.
Sounds like one very intensive project you will be doing. To get the information about your truck as well as talk to those that have been there, done that, you will need to post your question in the tech forums. Just click on the Forums tab at the upper left and scroll over the list. There is one for your 57 F100 and the people there will be glad to help you out. There is also a bodywork forum that may interest you. Check them out and I'm sure you will get all the help you need.
Since you are from Texas, stop by the Texas chapter. They are located at the end of the Forums list.
