ok I have a 86 f150 4.9l two wheel drive I just relaced upper and lower ball joints on both sides and my wheels still are leaning in at the top now my question is should i use those degree shims for the top balljoint or is it easy to change bushings ive dont them on a car before and to be honest I didnt even pay attention if my truck had bushings im assuming it does any help?
Well sorry it took so long to reply but bruce your a genius i checked the springs and between the two front i could notice that one was slightly higher so i bought new springs 89 bucks also a good deal for new im told I just finished installing themand wow what a diffrence my truck looks like one of those prancing horses it sits alot higher in front almost 3 inches amazing thanks for the tips

Im glad it helped. I always check those things before I get ready to do a alignment. usually on ford trucks this age they need these things and most of the time when I change all the bad parts the truck is real close to specs .
yeah it did wonders they still tilt in a little but not like before my uncle told me that alighnment places actually bend the i beams to correct it have you ever heard of that seems kinda extreme to me
