5.0 flooding during startup?

hey guys. i'm having a problem with a 5.0 flooding up during startup. i have to pull the fuel relay in order for it to start, but the moment i put it back on, the motor dies. the egr isnt hooked up to the egv, but could that cause the flooding? i'm really confused about what could be going on. any help would be much appreciated.

When my truck was flooding it was caused from the ENGINE TEMP SENSOR. It was reading too cold so it sent a signal to dump more fuel. I really don't know if thats your problem though.
