Learn to type on-line FREE??

My son wants to learn to type. Any free on-line tutors that anyone has experience with? I did a search and just don't know what to try for him.

Thanks,
4bc

My cousin has been using this to help familiarize himself with the locations of letters.

you can pickup mavis Beacon at Wal-Mart or Target. My wife uses it and I practice my typing on it also. I'm like jake it had been years since I used it, but found it at Wal-Mart $5.99.

Does your local school system provide computer-oriented classes? They seem to be more and more popular these days, with younger kids. I didnt take one till high school, but I know siblings took them as young as 13-14.

Yes they do, He doesn't want to take the class yet.

I purchased Mavis Beacon for him yesterday. Just less than $10.00 at Staples, it has a few games also. He likes it and is learning well.

Thanks all.

Just get some white out and paint over the letters on the keyboard. That will do it.
