Dumb question one?
Will any sending unit work for my trans oil temp sender, ie water, etc.? I have Autometer gauges ( taken from one truck and installed in new truck), now my reading aren't accurate. Whoops, I shouldn't of said Aytometer! thanks..

You should get you an actual trans temp sending unit in my opinion but i cant see why any sending unit wouldn't work. Irregardless, which gauge are you getting in-accurate readings from? trans temp?
