Brand New Motor
Hey everybody, I am putting a new motor in my 78 F100. I need some advice. I am building a motor from a 91 mustang (302). I am thinking about using the mustang serpentine belt setup. I have most of the brackets and pulley's I need.
I have questions about the water pump and the a/c compressor. I have heard that the mustang pump is counter clock rotation in order to use w/ the serpentine setup. Can anyone verify this?
The other question is on the a/c power connection. Can I use the plug from the mustang and compressor and just splice it to the truck wire?
If anyone has put this belt set up on their truck, or knows someone who has, I could use some advice.
