Hi, I´m an proudly owner of an 92" Ford Bronco 351
In last week I must change my fueltank, because
the salt on our street have killed them. On this
job, i replaced the fuelpump with a new one.
All runs great, the fuel gaughe show me the right.
But now I have parked my Bronco for 3 Days and my fuelgaughe is dead. It show me allways empty.
I´ve checked fuses and electriccables - all is ok.
When i put out the conector on the tank unit, the
fuelgaughes goes to full. What´s yout opinion, is my sending unit damaged? Thanks for answer
Hermann
If the truck sat for three days, it may be possible that the sending unit got stuck.Have you started it and drove it around? Try putting at least 5 gallons to see if the needle will move.Have you ever suspected someone may have syphoned your gas out? You never know!
