Question Gas Rad

Well I guess I have to show that I`m still here. I have been looking at collecting all the parts that need for my truck (1984 F250) and the thought came up why did we have diffrent radiators than the gas powered trucks ? were the hoses on opposite sides? were the gas ones not heavy duty enough? been looking at aluminum rads ( http://www.becool.com ) and they were good for up to 700 HP
I need a new core support so why not get a new rad ( aluminum ) with it .

there was an earlier thread about that very issue, but for the life of me i can't remember what it said other than the gasser rad wouldn't fit in the diesel ssupport(not an issue if you're going to change anyway) and seems like there was something about the coolant flow???? somebody may remember.

Those supports came two ways-one is kind of narrow and goes bellow the frame rails and the other is longer and above the frame rails.I dont know if either one is just for diesels.

Diesel is usually a 4 row rad in HD applications...... Brass is used extensively with our diesels....... there are turbulators in the rad cores usually to agitate the coolant as it passes and transfers more heat/cooling.....
